Noni Juice

Noni juice is made from the fruits of Morinda citrifolia. Noni is a good source of vitamin C , Iron and fibre. It is rich in anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory molecules.  Some studies indicate that it may be useful as an adjuvant in psoriasis management using methotrexate, as well as an adjuvant in pain management using physiotherapy. It may also be useful in osteoporosis management.  There are a few case studies available probing the use of noni fruit juice as an adjuvant in cancer treatment. They indicate that Noni fruit juice may be able to reduce risk of cancer among smoking addicts.

There is a speculation that Noni juice may be able to normalise tissue acidosis. Resolving tissue acidosis is being recognised as central to managing chronic pain and is an determinant for tumor progression. Several laboratory studies on isolated cells and animals have indicated diverse biological properties of noni juice such as bactericidal and fungicidal activities, anti-viral as well as anthelmintic (the one that removes parasitic worms from body) activities.  Some animal studies have suggested noni fruit juice as an adjuvant in osteoporosis management.
